Dementia or memory decline was related to blood cholesterol levels. Research indicates that experts, low levels of good cholesterol or high density lipoproteins (HDL) in blood can make you prone to dementia and Alzheimer’s.

In the two types, known medically as cholesterol, the HDL that protects your heart from damage and bad cholesterol or low density lipoproteins (LDL) that increase the risk of suffering from heart problems. In practice, HDL also acts suppress LDL by sending it from the cells and blood vessels to the liver or liver.

In a study, experts found that low HDL levels associated with increased risk of memory decline. This influence came when, specifically in the blood levels of HDL cholesterol decreased in the age between 55 to 60 years in which this will increase the likelihood of having dementia up to 61 percent.
